OIL & GAS ADVISORY
Technical Due Diligence for Complex Energy Investments.
Oil and gas investments require a different level of diligence from conventional real estate.
A project may appear economically attractive while relying on aggressive reserve assumptions, incomplete geological interpretation, underestimated drilling and operating costs, unrealistic production forecasts, or an investor structure that does not adequately reflect the underlying risk.
Elite Property Advisors brings together petroleum geology, field development, technical evaluation, financial underwriting and data-driven investment analysis to help investors independently assess upstream oil and gas opportunities.
Our objective is simple:
Understand the resource, test the assumptions, quantify the risk, and determine whether the investment case is technically and economically defensible.
OIL & GAS DUE DILIGENCE & FEASIBILITY
Connecting Subsurface Reality With Investment Economics
A strong oil and gas investment thesis must work at two levels.
First, the technical story must be credible: the geology, reservoir, reserves, well locations, development plan and production expectations must be supported by available evidence.
Second, those technical assumptions must translate into an investment structure that appropriately compensates investors for the geological, operational and capital risks involved.
EPA evaluates both sides of that equation.
Geological, Geophysical & Reservoir Review
We review available geological, geophysical, well and production information to assess whether the technical interpretation behind the investment is reasonable.
Depending on the project, the analysis may include regional geology, structural interpretation, seismic interpretation, reservoir characterization, historical well performance, production behavior, well-location strategy and development potential.
The objective is not simply to establish that hydrocarbons may be present. The more important question is whether the technical evidence supports the development and production assumptions being presented to investors.
Reserve & Production Review
Oil and gas economics are highly sensitive to reserve estimates and future production assumptions.
EPA can review available reserve information, historical production, production decline, expected recovery, well count, development timing and forecast production to identify assumptions that may materially affect the investment case.
For mature producing assets, we place particular emphasis on the relationship between historical operating performance and projected future production.
Where a formal reserve certification is required, the appropriate qualified reserve or petroleum-engineering professional should provide the formal opinion.
Exploration & Field Development Feasibility
For exploration, infill drilling, redevelopment and field-expansion opportunities, EPA evaluates whether the proposed technical program is consistent with available subsurface information and operating conditions.
The review may consider exploration targets, well placement, drilling design, development sequencing, field infrastructure, production strategy, operating limitations and the capital required to execute the proposed plan.
Asset Evaluation & Development Risk
Technical feasibility must ultimately be translated into asset value and capital requirements.
We examine whether development assumptions are consistent with the physical and operational characteristics of the asset, including drilling and completion costs, field facilities, infrastructure, operating expenses, maintenance, workovers, development schedule and longer-term capital needs.
For U.S. assets, regulatory, operating and compliance considerations may also be relevant to understanding the full cost and execution risk of the opportunity.
Investment Underwriting
The final stage connects the technical conclusions to the investment economics.
Analysis may include project cash flow, capital requirements, commodity-price assumptions, operating costs, development costs, investor distributions, ownership structure, sponsor economics, profit-sharing arrangements, break-even analysis, sensitivity analysis and downside scenarios.
The key question is not simply:
What return does the model show?
It is:
Is that return sufficient for the technical uncertainty, operating exposure and capital risk the investor is being asked to assume?
OIL & GAS ADVISORY TEAM
Senior Petroleum Expertise Supported by Asset and Investment Analysis
Our oil and gas advisory team combines decades of petroleum exploration and field-development experience with reserve evaluation, operating knowledge, data analytics and investment underwriting.
The result is an integrated review that connects the technical reality of the asset with the economics ultimately presented to investors.

Qin Wang
Senior Petroleum Asset & Development Advisor
Qin Wang is a senior geologist and geophysicist with more than 30 years of international oil and gas industry experience. His career has focused on exploration and development, reservoir prediction, geophysical applications, oil and gas reserve and asset evaluation, and field production and operations management.

OUR APPROACH
Technical Reality First. Investment Economics Second.
Our oil and gas diligence process starts with the asset itself, not with the projected return.
We first review the available geology, geophysics, well history, production performance, reserve assumptions and proposed development plan to understand what the technical evidence actually supports. Senior technical specialists then evaluate whether the proposed well strategy, production expectations and field-development approach are consistent with that evidence.
Those conclusions are translated into practical development assumptions: how many wells may be required, what infrastructure is needed, what capital must be deployed, how the field may perform over time and where the principal operating risks are concentrated.
Only then do we evaluate the financial model and investor economics.
This sequence matters because a financial model can produce almost any desired return if its underlying assumptions are aggressive enough. Our role is to determine whether those assumptions are technically and operationally defensible.
The final analysis therefore connects:
Geology & Reserves → Development Plan → Production → Cost & Operations → Asset Value → Investor Economics
Where specialized reserve certification, engineering, legal, tax, environmental or regulatory opinions are required, EPA can work alongside the appropriate qualified professionals.
Our goal is to give investors a clear understanding of:
what the data supports, what remains uncertain, what can go wrong, and whether the expected return adequately compensates for those risks.

Evaluating an Oil & Gas Opportunity?
Before committing capital, understand the geology, reserves, development plan, production assumptions, asset economics and investor structure behind the opportunity.
PROFESSIONAL NOTE
